For Allah and Then For History (1) (Exposing Shiah) by Assayyid Hussayn al-Musawi

For Allah and then For History

 (Exposing Shiah)

 INTRODUCTION

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

All praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon our trustworthy prophet, his virtuous family and those who followed them in goodness until the day of recompense.

Muslims know that the ultimate end of this life is death after which each and everyone of us is either sent to paradise or to the hellfire and there is no shadow of doubt regarding that every Muslim aspires to be among the paradise dwellers. Therefore, one should seek the pleasure of his Lord and should avoid every act that Allah forbade and whatsoever would lead to Allah's wrath and punishment and for these reasons we see that every Muslim is keen on obeying his Lord and seeking His closeness especially if he was from the righteous.

As we all know, there are many paths and many temptations in life and the wise is the one who chooses the path leading to paradise, even if it is difficult and abandons the path leading to the hellfire, even if it is easy.

This book was written in a form of a research. My own tongue said it and my own hands wrote it. My intention behind writing it is to gain the acceptance and pleasure of Allah, and to benefit my brothers as long as I am alive before I am put in my shroud.

I was born in Karbala' in a Shiite environment, where I was brought up by a religious father.

I studied in the schools of the town. After that my father sent me to hawza1 of an-Najaf, the leading hawza in the whole world, to be taught under the most famous scholars of the time like Muhammad 'al Hussain Kashef al-Gheta'.

1 A seminary of traditional Shi'a Islamic studies

I studied in the high academic school of an-Najaf, and I dreamt of becoming the leading scholar of all hawza scholars one day, to serve my religion and nation and to elevate the Muslim ummah.

I wanted to see Muslims one nation with one leader, and to see the nations of the disbelievers demolishing in front of this Muslim nation. And I had far other dreams which any young enthusiastic Muslim would dream of. On the other hand, I wondered  how we (Muslims) have reached this state of separation and backwardness, and I used to question other things, as every young Muslim did, but I never succeeded in finding an answer to any of my queries.

During the course of my education, I came across some texts that were very odd, but then I would accuse myself of misunderstanding. It happened once that I told one of the professors of Hawza about what was bothering me. He was very smart; he knew how to kill those queries before they grew and developed in my mind.

"What do you study in hawza?"

he asked. "I study the ideology of Ahl-ul-Bayt (members of the prophet's household)," I answered.

"Do you have any doubts regarding their mathhab?" he said.

"I seek refuge in Allah!" I replied.

He said "Then do not think of those evil whispers, for you are a follower of Ahl-ul-Bayt and Ahl-ul-Bayt received teachings from Allah the exalted."

Upon saying that, he was silent for a few seconds. Thereafter, I felt better, I said: "May Allah bless you. You relieved me from my evil whispers."

I returned to my studies and those questions came up again in my mind, and the more I progressed in my studies, the more questions that came up.

I finished my education and I earned ijazah (academic degree/legal authorization) by Muhammad al-Hussain 'al Kashef al-Gheta', the leader of hawza. At that time I started to think about the subject. We study the mathhab of Ahl-ul-Bayt, but we defame them in our books, and we study Shari'ah (Islamic legislation) to worship Allah, but I find many texts that contain obvious disbelief.

Oh Lord! What are we studying? Can this really be the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt?

Can someone worship Allah and disbelieve in him in the same time.

Can someone follow the guidance of the prophet sala Allahu 'alayhi wa salam and his family and in the same time defame them?

How do we follow Ahl-ul-Bayt, love them, and study their teachings and in the same time we defame them and insult them?

Forgive me my Lord and grant me gracefulness, if you do not, I will be of those who have gone astray and those who are the true losers . I also wondered about the stance of all the scholars of hawza towards what I see of contradictions, and I thought that they might not have studied those books,

but this is unlikely, as they have written some of those books themselves!

I needed to share my queries with someone else. I thought of restudying all what I studied before, whether authentic or non-authentic. I read all the books that I could get access to. Some of the texts that I came across needed commentary, so I did this on small pieces of paper. After finishing reading, I ended up having piles of cuttings so I kept them hoping that Allah might accomplish a matter already decreed.

Meanwhile, I still enjoyed a good relationship with all the scholars I have met, because I thought that this would help me in a way when I take my difficult decision. I used to see my friend Moussa al-Mousawee as a good example when he declared his refusal to the alterations that have occurred to the Shiite ideology, and his attempts to correct them. Then, the book of Ahmad al-Kateb Tatawor al-Fikr al-Shi'i (The Development of the Shiite Ideology) was published. After reading which, I knew that my turn has come to announce the truth and to help enlighten my deceived brothers. For as scholars we will be held responsible for them on the day of judgment.

My procedure in presenting results might be different from that of the two above mentioned scholars. I think this is because the information each of us reached during our studies was different.

It might also be because the life of the two scholars were different from mine, as each of them left Iraq and settled in the west and started to make a living there.

On the other hand I still live in Iraq, precisely in an-Najaf and I have fewer resources, because I have decided to stay here and to work patiently, anticipating a reward in the hereafter. I am certain that many scholars feel guilty for their silence and their contentment with what they see and read in major resources. Therefore, I ask Allah the Exalted that this book would be a motive for them to have second thoughts, and to abandon the false path and return to the right path for age is very short and the proof is established against them.

Some of the scholars, who I have a good relationship with, responded to my da’wah and started to give da’wah others. We ask Allah the exalted that we succeed in showing people the truth, and to warn them against the consequences of following falsehood for he is the Most Bountiful of whosoever can be asked.

I know that this book will be confronted with rejection, refutation and false accusations, but all this will do me no harm for I have put it all into account. I know I might be accused of working as an agent for Israel or America or for selling myself and my religion for worldly gains. I expected all of this, for they have accused our friend Moussa al-Mousawi of such accusations, to the extent that the scholar Ali al-Gharawi said that the king of Saudi Arabia, Fahd bin Abdulaziz seduced him with a beautiful woman from the family of Su'oud, and promised to secure his financial situation, by depositing a big amount of money in an American bank account for him, in return Moussa al-Mousawi should join the Wahabis!

If this was the case with Moussa al-Mousawi, what would happen to me, and what would they accuse me of. They might look for me to kill me as they have done with those who have announced the truth. Like Ayatollah al-'Othman Abu al-Hassan al-Asfhani, one of the major shi'a Imams since the era of the great disappearance (the great disappearance happened when al-Mahdi, the twelfth imam, disappeared in 329 A.H., according to the Shiite beliefs) until this day, whose son they they have slaw, very much like one slays a lamb, so as to force his father back from correcting the deviances of the Shiite ideology. And Ahmad al-Kesrawy, who was cut to pieces after he announced his rejection of the Shiite ideology and wanted to rectify it.

Furthermore, there are others whose ends were similar because they rejected the wrong beliefs that have occurred in the Shiite ideology. Thus it is expected that they decide for me such an end.

However I am not really concerned about this. For all I want is to announce the truth, and to advise my brothers. and to lead them to the right path. If I wanted any of the worldly pleasures, the Khums 2and the Mut'ah3 are enough to please me like they do to others, who have become the wealthiest in the country, and some of them drive cars of the latest models. As for me, I have turned my back to all of this after knowing the truth, and now I have a business from which I make a living.

I am intending to write other books that deal with issues other than the ones discussed in this book. I wish that all Muslims would know the truth

and no excuse would be there for any negligent or ignorant.

The target of this book are the seekers of truth, who I am sure, will welcome it, not those who wear turbans and drive Mercedes and prefer to remain in their deceitfulness, so as not to lose their positions, Khums and Mut'ah, for Allah is their reckoner on everything they have committed and still commit on a day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail except him who brings to Allah a clean heart.

All the praises and thanks be to Allah who has guided us to this and never could we find guidance was it not that Allah has guided us.
